European market: Environmental protection regulations upgraded

Germany's new regulation: Starting from June 2024, building water supply systems are required to use PPR pipes made of at least 50% recyclable materials. Chinese manufacturers (such as Liansu) have launched rPPR series that meet the standards, but the extended certification cycle has led to short-term export disruptions.

The French price war: The Turkish Pilsa Group has reduced its price by 20% through localized production, competing with the local brand Aliaxis for market share. The wholesale price of PPR in Europe has dropped to €1.3-1.5 per meter (€1.8 in 2023).
